“This is my chance to prove myself”: The First Trailer For Spider-Man: Homecoming is Here

Following up on their promise to release the full trailer 24 hours after they released an 18 second teaser two days ago, Sony and Marvel, yesterday, debuted the first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming, which stars Tom Holland as the iconic web-slinging character.

We get to see tons of action more than we did in the teaser trailer, and we also get to see Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man in action.

The trailer confirmed the Steve Ditko influence on Spider-Man’s suit, especially the web wings and the mask. We also got to our first look at Vulture (Michael Keaton)the film’s main villain, who by the way, looks really badass. “Don’t mess with me, because I will kill you and everyone you love,” he tells Peter in one scene.

No doubt Tom Holland is reinventing the Spider-Man humor, I really like the way Marvel and Sony made a mash up with Captain America: Civil war and Spider-Man Homecoming.

The film will also star Marisa Tomei, John Francis Daley, Donald Glover and Zendeya.

Directed by Jon Watts, based on a screenplay by Jonathan M. Goldstein, Spider-Man: Homecoming will debut in IMAX and 3D on July 7, 2017.
