Everything about the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice seems to be hush hush and official. Unlike the Suicide Squad set where information is leaking left and right, very little is known about the film and most of the releases made are controlled by DC.
So it is in that light that the world was eager to know what Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was going to be about. Apart from the trailer where you get a little about what to expect, fans have had very little to go on, which is why the release of the film’s official synopsis has attracted so much attention, and it reads as follows:
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Princess Diana/Wonder Woman and Aquaman are also going to be making appearances in the movie, so it would be very interesting to see how all these heroes are brought together in what could be our first look at a coming together of the DC Comics heroes (since most of us have become tired of the Marvel ones).
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gal Gadot as Wonder woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Jason Mamoa as Aquaman. The film is directed by Zack Synder based on a Screenplay by David S. Goyer.
The film is set to hit cinemas worldwide on the 25th of March 2016.
If for some reason you haven’t seen the trailer, here it is.
