Razzies 2014: Will and Jaden Smith, Kim Kardashian and Movie 43 dominate; 'Grown Ups 2' wins Nothing

You may be fixated on Twitter, high on the Oscar buzz or maybe even putting gold frosting on sugar cookies in preparation for a personal Oscar bash, but be rest assured that we at Sodasandpopcorn Villa didn’t forget that another major movie award show went down in Hollywood this weekend.

Couple of weeks ago we brought you the full list of Razzies nominees. And we all were excited to see who wins “Worst Picture” and all that other positive stuff. So yesterday, on Oscar eve, the winners of the 34th annual Razzie Awards were announced in a ceremony at Ignited Spaces in Hollywood. Honoring the worst films of the year with a prestigious Golden Raspberry statue, the annual awards called out the year’s biggest stars to “Own Their Bad,” which occasionally happens when folks like Sandra Bullock actually show up at the ceremony to collect (like she did in 2009 for “All About Steve”).

Cards on the table, I actually wrote Will and Jaden a fan mail, begging them to make a sister’s dreams come true and actually show up to own their Razzies. (I’m still Optimistic about next year :D)

This year’s crop of nominees was dominated by the Adam Sandler comedy Grown Ups 2, which led the pack of Worst Picture nominees that included other mega-embarrassments like Movie 43, The Lone Ranger (also nominated for an Oscar), After Earth, and A Madea Christmas.
