The Hollywood Reporter, yesterday, announced that the studio was in negotiations with Ant-Man director, Peyton Reed to make a return for the sequel, Ant-man and the Wasp, which has been scheduled for a July 2018 release.
That Ant-Man is getting a sequel or Peyton Reed is in talks to direct the sequel shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, seeing how successful the first installment did, grossing over $454million dollars so far at the worldwide box office.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will see Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly return as Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne respectively. The July 6, 2018, release date was the original release date for Marvel’s Black Panther, but Black Panther has been moved to February 16, 2018 to accommodate the film.
