Thy Will Be Done PosterSitting in the cinema hall, not knowing what to expect, I brought out my phone and opened the “To-Do” app. I was going to write down all the flaws I noticed. By the time the credits started rolling and I looked down at my phone, all I had managed to put down were to lines. One of them was a quote I thought would be really cool to start a review with.

You might be wondering what I’m on about, not too worry, I’m still very much sane. I had the honour of seeing Obi Emelonye’s new film, Thy Will be done, today, and I must say, I was really impressed.

The film is the story of Pastor Pius (Ramsey Nouah) and his wife (Mercy Johnson-Okojie), who have their lives thrown into a dilemma when the pastor’s first wife (Mary Njoku) who was presumed dead, shows up seven years later. Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, Pastor Pius at the risk of losing everything, must make a decision…or does he?

The movie was directed by Obi Emelonye from a script written by Tobe Osigwe. It also stars Jide Kosoko and Enyinna Nwigwe.

Thy Will Be Done will be available in cinemas from this Friday, 15th of May.

Full review will be available soon.
