Marvel’s Daredevil Renewed For A Second Season

Daredevil posterLess than two weeks after it premiered on Netflix, Marvel’s Daredevil has been renewed for a second season.

The second season which is billed to premiere in 2016, will have Doug Petrie (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) as the runners of the show.

Truth is, I was a little skeptical about the Daredevil series, especially after the terrible outing of the 2003 movie starring Ben Affleck. But apparently, the movie has received critical acclaim, and attracted a reasonable number of viewers, which is why Netflix has decided to renew the series for a second season.

Daredevil is the story of a man who went blind as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
