Lord Of The Rings Cinematographer, Andrew Lesnie, Dies At 59


Andrew LesnieAndrew Lesnie, the Oscar-winning cinematography responsible for Lord Of The Rings trilogy died yesterday of heart attack.

Lesnie, who was a native of Sydney, Australia, was 59 at the time of his death.

Some of his co-workers have taken to twitter to express their grief over the sudden death of the cinematographer. Russell Crowe, who he worked with on, The Water Diviner, referred to him as “master of the light and genius”.

Some of Andrew Lesnie’s works include, The Hobbit trilogy, I Am Legend, Lord of The Rings trilogy, Rise Of The Planet of the Apes and King Kong.
