Physical injuries of one of the most dedicated men to Cinema, Jackie Chan. We all grew up watching the Hong Kong-born action and comedy star and time and time again, argue over who was better between him and Jet Li, neither of whom have won an Oscar – until now.
On Saturday night in Hollywood, the 62 year old action and comedy star received an honorary Oscar at the eighth annual Governors Awards.
“After 56 years in the film industry, making more than 200 films, breaking so many bones, finally this is mine,” said Mr Jackie Chan while giving his speech on the podium with his statue in his hand.
Jackie Chan was honored alongside casting director Lynn Stalmaster, editor Anne V. Coates, and documentarian Frederick Wiseman.
