Unlike the previous trailer, this new one goes deeper into the plot, and confirms that Katia van Dees (the daughter of the man who created the ‘Agent’ program) is a product of genetic modification like 47 and her supposed ally in fact, works for a mega-corporation, out to unlock the secret of the Agent program and create their own army of cloned assassins.
Directed by Aleksander Bach, Hitman: Agent 47, centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine. He is the culmination of decades of research, endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
The film stars Rupert Friend, Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Thomas Kretschmann, Dan Bakkedahl and Ciaran Hinds.
It is interesting to note that this movie will be, director, Aleksander Bach’s first attempt at a feature length film. He is far from Music Video directing, which is where he made his name. Why the producers of this film went for an inexperienced person is not known, but we can only pray the movie comes out well (which is not something that happened with the previous Hitman movie).
