For a while now we’ve been covering a developing story on a new film, 93 Days, which would focus on the recent Ebola crisis that hit Nigeria last year, and would focus on the true-life story of the men and women who risked their lives and made sacrifices to ensure the deadly disease did not spread more than it had to.
There’s been a new development on the story, as Bellanaija is reporting that Hollywood actor, Danny Glover, has arrived Nigeria to begin shooting his part in the film. According to the report, the actor who will be playing a lead role in the film, flew in last night.
93 Days which began filming on August 17, is a compelling human story of dedication, sacrifice, resilience and survival. It tells the inspiring story of the late Dr. Stella Adadevoh and the rest of her colleagues who died while ensuring the rest of Nigeria was safe from the Ebola outbreak.
The film will also star Bimbo Akintola, Gideon Okeke and American actor, Tim Reid.
No release date has been confirmed yet, but we expect the movie to hit cinemas sometime next year.
