Check Out Character Portraits From Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful Eight

Hateful EightCast photos of Quentin Tarantino’s latest work, Hateful Eight have been released. These photos provide the first look of what the lead casts will like.

Released exclusively by Entertainment Weekly, the pictures include, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and so on.

Below are the photos and a brief description of the characters.

Kurt Russell as John Ruth

H8 character posterJohn is a mean sonuvabitch with a code as intractable as a noose. He’s on his way to Red Rock with his murderous bounty, Daisy Domergue, in tow.

Samuel L. Jackson as Major Marquis Warren

Hateful Eight character posterOnce a Union officer, Warren now lives in the Wyoming mountains. He harbors his own fair share of secrets and still knows how to handle a gun.

Jennifer Jason Leigh as Daisy Domergue

Hateful Eight character posterJust because she’s handcuffed to her bounty hunter doesn’t mean Daisy isn’t a lethal threat. This infamous outlaw chews iron and spits nails.

Michael Madsen as Joe Gage

Hateful Eight character posterAn out-and-out cowboy in the classic mold, with a kerchief as dirty as his smirk, Gage is one of four strangers holed up at Minnie’s Haberdashery when the others arrive.

Tim Roth as Oswaldo Mobray

H8 character posterIf you can’t tell by his continental-sounding name and fancy tailoring, Mobray isn’t a local. The well-appointed Brit claims to be the new hangman of Red Rock.

Walton Goggins as Chris Mannix

H8 character posterA Southerner who’s moved west, Mannix says he’s the sheriff. But anyone in a Western should know better than to trust a man in a black hat.

Bruce Dern as General Sanford Smithers

H8 character posterThis former Confederate general is the most laconic of the bunch, content to hold his peace (until he’s required to hold his piece).

Demian Bichir as Bob

H8 character posterSwaddled in a giant fur coat—and an equally giant fur beard—Bob “the Mexican” has taken over innkeeper duties from Minnie while she’s away visiting relatives.

    • Low budget isn’t always bad though. The Bourne Identity was low budget, so was a movie you may have come across, The Raid: Redemption

  1. Yay! Thanks for this! i appreciate even though its a mini. I am so on point with you on the directing! So, meh… But the movie passed a msg&created an awareness that’s why i wanted you guys to see it. The American man&woman coming into a foreign country&controlling the police anyhow was so far fetched! But don’t underestimate the way the paedophiles were being depicted, it was very REAL&the bitter truth is, in most cases they tend to get away unpunished

    • Exactly, in real life they always get away. The man, the pedophile John Billingsley was the best actor in the movie. I liked his acting.

      • Liked his acting, hated the character! But actors dey try sha… I can’t even imagine to pretend to be attracted to a minor! Eww…
        On the other hand, whatever!!!
